Bleed and safe zone
If your design runs to the edge of a product, extend it past the cut line (this is called bleed) so there are no white slivers after trimming. Keep logos and text inside the safe zone, away from folds, edges and seams. We'll send the exact dieline for your product with your quote. [Confirm standard bleed and safe-zone sizes per product.]
Colour matching
For the most accurate brand colours, give us Pantone (PMS) references. CMYK is fine for full-colour artwork. Kraft and coloured stocks change how ink looks, so a colour on brown kraft will print darker than on white.
Placement
Use the Build your brand preview to show us roughly where you want your logo. Our team will set it up properly on the dieline and show you in your proof.
Checklist before you send
- Vector file (PDF, AI, EPS or SVG), or a PNG at 300 dpi
- Text converted to outlines
- Pantone or CMYK colour references
- Bleed added if the design runs to the edge
- Any notes on placement or print sides
Not sure? Send us what you have. We'd rather help than have you guess.
